Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert care to critically ill newborns in a Level III NICU
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Attend deliveries, including C-sections, to provide immediate neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
• Monitor and operate specialized equipment such as BCPAP and HFNC
• Document patient progress accurately using Meditech
• Support and educate families during a stressful and vulnerable time

Qualifications

• Active TX RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience
• Level III NICU experience
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Able to attend deliveries including C-sections
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Experience with Meditech preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Neonatal assessment and critical care
• Medication administration and dosing for neonates
• Respiratory support including BCPAP and HFNC
• Family-centered care and education
• Electronic health records (Meditech)
• Rapid response and resuscitation
