Registered Nurse - Neuro Tele
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), weekends as scheduled (4 weekend shifts per 8 weeks)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to neuro telemetry patients with conditions like CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, and encephalopathy
- Titrate critical drips including Heparin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem with precision
- Perform bedside report and maintain sterile field during Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
- Interpret EKG rhythms and respond to telemetry monitoring alerts
- Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-turnover unit
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state (NLC)
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in an acute care setting
- Level 1 Trauma experience is a must
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Neuro experience highly preferred
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam and SIMs lab skills check-off
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in sterile field maintenance and wound care
- Skilled in IV therapy, Foley catheter insertion, and central line dressing changes
- Experience with Cerner EMR and bedside reporting
- Strong EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring abilities
- Comfortable titrating Amio, Cardizem, and Insulin drips
