Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide telemetry monitoring and nursing care to a diverse patient population across multiple facilities within Zone 3
Float between MS-Tele units covering cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, renal, and more
Titrate heparin drips as needed and manage common titratable drips
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care
Adapt quickly to different unit environments, patient acuities, and staffing needs
Participate in the 6-week schedule, including weekend and holiday rotations

Qualifications

Must have at least 2 years of MS-Tele experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Prior neuro experience preferred
Willingness to float within a 60-mile radius and be flexible with scheduling
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Experience caring for cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and other medical-surgical patients
Ability to titrate heparin and manage IV drips
Strong adaptability and floating skills across multiple units and facilities
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
