• Requested Skill Set: The Registered
• Nurse Mother Baby unit cares for women of childbearing age and newborns.
• Ability to recognize unit workflow, process, policies and procedures within
• post partum unit. Ability to assess and identify risk factors related to: sepsis,
• venous thromboembolism/deep vein thrombosis (VTE/DVT), suicide, malignant
• hyperthermia, pressure injury. Ability to provide discharge education and
• assessment, abnormal assessment, pain management, time management,
• prioritization of patient care needs dependent upon acuity and needs of the
• patient. Use of AIDET and BSSR.
• Must have : Graduate from an accredited school of
• nursing, BSN preferred
• Advanced skills needed: N/A
• Procedures performed on unit: circumcisions
• Certifications Required: BLS, NRP
• Dress Code : (Required uniform)
