Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac conditions, including those on telemetry and PCU-level care
Monitor and interpret cardiac strips, titrate drips like Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and more
Collaborate with a dedicated team in a 32-bed unit with supportive charge nurses and patient care techs
Float to PCU or med-surg as needed, ensuring seamless patient care
Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, and recovery

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
At least 1 year of PCU or telemetry experience
Proficiency in reading and interpreting cardiac strips
Experience with titrating cardiac drips
Epic experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac and telemetry monitoring skills
Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to rotating shifts and floating assignments
