Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry strips for patients with cardiac conditions
Administer and titrate cardiac drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitro
Provide comprehensive care for medical and telemetry patients, including PCU-level overflow
Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on cardiac health and condition management
Respond to changes in patient status and intervene appropriately

Qualifications

BLS and ACLS certification required
Must have PCU experience and ability to read telemetry strips
EPIC experience preferred but not required
First-time travelers welcome!

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Cardiac drip titration
Patient assessment for acute and chronic conditions
EPIC electronic health record proficiency
Strong communication and teamwork skills
