• Unit Notes: Unit Medsurg Oncology
• *Traveler needs to be comfortable caring for Oncology patients, but will not have to administer Chemo.
• *HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE CONSIDERED, HOWEVER NOT GUARANTEED

• Certs-BLS
• Ratios-1 to 5 could be 1 to 4 if one of patients is getting chemo
• EMR -Cerner
• Charge Nurse- clinical supervisor who will not take pt assignment, will fill in as break relief
• Nurse Aides-1 nurse aide on for 8 hrs of days
• Weekend Requirement-4 weekend shifts in 4 week schedule
• Holidays- work into perm staff rotation
• Scrub Color-navy
• Tele portable tele box as needed, they do have monitor tech,nurses must be able to read and interpret, will have to take dysrhythmia exam

• Hospitalist or Intensivist in house hosp -24/7
• IV Team- no
• RT 24/7- yes
• Pharmacy 24/7 yes
• Shifts-12 hr shifts 6:45-7:15
• Floating- to tele 1 to 4 ratio, could also float between medsurg floors
• Floor specific orientation-1 shift on unit
• Common diagnosis / Types of patients- mostly oncology patients but may have some overflow medsurg
• Additional Notes "MUST have 2-3 years in specialty
