Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to medical-surgical and cardiac patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and intervene as needed
• Administer medications and treatments accurately
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create personalized care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions and recovery
• Document patient progress with precision

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Connecticut or compact privileges
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Previous experience in med-surg or cardiac nursing preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Patient assessment and care planning
• Medication administration expertise
• Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
• Compassionate patient advocacy
