Shift Type: Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in a medical observation unit
Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications accurately
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document patient progress and communicate effectively with physicians
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Uphold the highest standards of safety and infection control

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Must be willing to start ASAP and commit to a 27-week assignment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner electronic health records (preferred)
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of medical observation unit protocols
Adaptability to changing patient needs and unit demands
