Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse Med-Surg patient population
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and attention to detail
• Monitor patient conditions and document progress using Meditech electronic health records
• Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Med-Surg nursing experience
• Active RN license in Tennessee or a compact state
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Team-oriented mindset and a compassionate approach to patient care
• Ability to float within facility Med-Surg units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in Meditech documentation system
• Knowledge of Med-Surg nursing protocols and best practices
• Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Adaptability to fast-paced, high-acuity environments
