Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse med-surg population
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in patient status
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments with precision and safety
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to coordinate seamless care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and discharge instructions
• Document accurately in Meditech and maintain compliance with facility policies

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
• 2+ years of med-surg nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Team-oriented with a compassionate, patient-first attitude
• Comfortable floating to other med-surg units as needed
• Meditech EHR experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong med-surg clinical knowledge and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proficiency in electronic health records, preferably Meditech
• Adaptability and flexibility to handle varying patient acuities
