Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population
Monitor patient vitals and administer medications accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech system
Float to other units as needed to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Tennessee or compact license
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Meditech documentation system
Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and patient care
Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients
