Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to post-surgical patients on a fast-paced 36-bed Med Surg unit
Monitor and manage surgical sites, wound care, drains, and wound vacs
Administer medications, including TPN and blood transfusions
Manage Foley catheters and continuous bladder irrigation
Perform ostomy care and nasogastric tube insertion and suction
Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
At least 2 years of Med Surg experience required
BLS certification from AHA required
Strong time management and teamwork skills essential

Knowledge & Skills

Background in post-op surgical areas (e.g., vascular, bariatric, urology, general surgery) preferred
Proficient in Meditech EMR
Customer service oriented with a positive attitude
