Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend, every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the nursing team as charge nurse on assigned shifts
Administer medications safely and accurately to residents
Perform wound care and monitor healing progress
Provide compassionate, resident-centered care
Collaborate with DON and physicians via phone for patient needs
Maintain a clean, safe, and upbeat environment

Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Current BLS certification (required)
At least 1 year of Long Term Care experience (preferred)
Strong communication and leadership skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and wound care
Familiarity with Matrix EMR system
Understanding of geriatric conditions (heart disease, diabetes, dementia)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
