Location: Silverdale, WA

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), block scheduling, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Independently attend low-risk deliveries and assist with cesarean sections
Provide comprehensive care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients
Circulate during C-sections and transition babies after delivery
Titrate critical drips including magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin
Float between mother-baby and postpartum units as needed
Collaborate with OB hospitalists, anesthesiologists, and NNPs on a 24/7 team

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience (1 year with multiple travel assignments considered)
At least 2 years of recent travel nursing experience preferred
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating in C-sections
Must be open to feedback and adaptable to unit workflows and policies

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC and Centricity-perinatal
Strong skills in fetal heart monitoring (FHM preferred intermediate or advanced)
Experience with high-risk conditions: preeclampsia, diabetes, substance use
Ability to titrate magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin drips
Team player with excellent communication and flexibility
