Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every third weekend, 1 major and 1 minor holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate in the operating room during C-sections and other procedures
Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, including high-risk OB
Perform normal newborn assessments and routine baby care
Triage patients over 20 weeks with pregnancy complaints
Titrate drips such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
Float to postpartum and occasionally to the house as a sitter
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including residents, CRNAs, and OBTs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
At least 1 year of recent L&D experience preferred
BLS and NRP certifications required
Must be able to circulate in the OR
Driver's license required to verify residency outside 50-mile radius
No artificial nails allowed in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Competent in normal newborn assessments and routine baby care
Experience with titratable drips (Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, pain meds)
Ability to triage obstetrical patients
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and openness to new challenges
