Education

• AWHONN Intermediate FM or C-EFM,
• NRP
• Hiring profile
• Requested Skill
• Set: IV insertion, lab draws,
• JADA and BAKRI
• knowledge, blood administration, nitrous administration, experience with vaginal exams, setting
• up delivery tables for vaginal deliveries
• Must have: Labor and delivery experience, strip interpretation, knowledge of
• common OB medications, circulator experience in C/S, PACU
• recovery experience for spinal anesthesia, antepartum triage, knowledge of common complications and treatments for obstetrical
• complaints, assist with epidural placement, teamwork approach to patient care
• Advanced skills needed:
• Procedures performed on unit: ECV, C/S, Vaginal
• Deliveries, Assist with
• vacuum or forceps as needed, Epidural placement
• Certifications Required: RN licensure, BLS, ACLS,
• NRP
• Dress Code : (Required uniform)
