Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery
• Interpret fetal heart rate strips and respond to changes
• Perform vaginal examinations and assess labor progress
• Start IVs and draw labs with confidence
• Circulate during cesarean sections and assist in the OR
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Proficiency in IV insertion, lab draws, fetal strip interpretation, vaginal exams, and OB circulator duties
• Ability to scrub is a plus
• Organized, compassionate, and great at time management

Knowledge & Skills

• Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
• EMR proficiency with CPN and Meditech
• Experience with fetal monitors, IUPC, FSE, fluid warmers, IV pumps, and epidural pumps
• Strong IV insertion and lab draw skills
• Knowledge of vaginal delivery and cesarean section procedures
