Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, individualized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate strips, intervening as needed to ensure the safety of mom and baby
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, amniocentesis, amnioinfusions, and IUPC/FSE placement
• Start IVs and draw labs with confidence and precision
• Serve as OB circulator for surgical and delivery procedures
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of nurses, techs, and providers to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Louisiana or compact state accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Proficient in IV insertion, lab draws, fetal strip interpretation, and vaginal exams
• OB circulator experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Ability to scrub is preferred but not required

• Fetal heart rate monitoring and strip interpretation

• OB circulator skills
• EMR proficiency: CPN and Meditech
• Strong time management and organization
