Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Start Date: 08-03-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week including weekends and call
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, including fetal monitoring and labor support
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, circulating and recovering patients
- Care for newborns immediately after delivery
- Administer medications and epidural anesthesia as ordered
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes
- Document care in CPN and Meditech systems
Qualifications
- Must have 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact license
- AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced) or CEFM certification required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Knowledge & Skills
- Care of the laboring patient and newborn
- Circulate and recover c/s patients
- AWHONN Intermediate fetal monitoring
- CEFM certification
- Documentation in CPN and Meditech
