Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating AM/PM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients
Circulate and/or scrub in the OR for cesarean sections
Titrate and manage IV drips including Pitocin, magnesium, and antihypertensives
Monitor maternal and fetal status using EFM and telemetry
Collaborate with OB techs, neonatologists, and charge nurses to ensure safe outcomes
Educate patients and families on newborn care and postpartum recovery

Qualifications

Current RN license in Oregon or ability to obtain 90-day emergency license upon offer
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent L&D experience including circulating/scrubbing for C-sections
Ability to titrate drips and manage obstetrical emergencies

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of AWHONN staffing guidelines
Proficient in EFM interpretation and telemetry monitoring
Experience with high-risk OB conditions such as hypertension and hemorrhage
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
