Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care in a LDRP unit
• Attend and manage deliveries independently, including low-risk births
• Circulate during cesarean sections and assist with surgical procedures
• Transition newborns and perform immediate postpartum assessments
• Titrate medications such as Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips
• Function in Mother-Baby and Postpartum units as needed, caring for couplets
• Collaborate with OB hospitalists, neonatologists, and anesthesia providers available 24/7

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP or L&D experience required (1 year considered with multiple travel assignments)
• No first-time travelers — must have prior travel experience or strong clinical background
• Ability to attend deliveries independently and circulate C-sections
• Comfortable assisting with baby transition and newborn care
• Strong adaptability and openness to facility workflows and feedback
• Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in EPIC documentation system
• Expertise in fetal heart monitoring and interpretation
• Knowledge of high-risk obstetric conditions (preeclampsia, diabetes, substance use)
• Skilled in titrating IV drips (Magnesium, Pitocin, Insulin)
• Team collaboration and effective communication with multidisciplinary team
