Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, alternating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients
Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal vital signs
Assist with SVD, C-sections, and TOLAC procedures
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Utilize advanced equipment like Novii, JADA, and Fetal Pillow
Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn feeding

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NRP certification required
Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience
EFM certification or competency
Experience in SVE competency and C-section circulation

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of fetal monitoring and interpretation
Skill in internal monitor placement
Proficiency in Meditech EMR
Understanding of Level IV unit practices
Team player with positive attitude
