Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with rotating weekend and on-call coverage
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist Interventional Radiologists during invasive imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Coordinate the IR physician schedule and collaborate with floor nurses, imaging techs, and other team members.
- Provide sedation monitoring and administer medications as needed.
- Perform IV insertions, pacemaker checks, and other critical nursing tasks.
- Manage patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings, including pediatric patients.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred
- Proficiency in IV insertion and sedation monitoring
- Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and equipment
- Skilled in IV insertion and sedation monitoring
- Proficient with Cerner EMR system
- Familiarity with MRI safe pumps and EKG monitors
- Strong communication and coordination skills
