Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 4 shifts per week, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Float between ICU and PCU units, providing critical care to a diverse patient population
- Monitor and titrate drips including Levophed, amiodarone, heparin, propofol, and more
- Care for patients post-CABG, PCI, with sepsis, DKA, respiratory failure, and other complex conditions
- Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, and RTs to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain 2:1 (ICU) or 4:1 (PCU) patient ratios, adjusting based on acuity
- Take charge responsibilities as needed and support the nursing team
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1-2 years of critical care experience
- Comfortable titrating multiple intravenous drips
- Ability to float between ICU and stepdown units
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Skilled in ventilator management and BiPAP/CPAP equipment
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Experience with EHR systems and bedside monitoring
