Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in a 10-bed ICU
• Monitor telemetry, manage ventilators, and respond to emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
• Administer medications, perform therapeutic phlebotomy, and manage CPAP/BiPap
• Assist with procedures like paracentesis and central line care
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and excellent outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state - must have at submission
• At least 2 years of ICU experience in a hospital setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (renewed annually)
• Experience with CPAP, BiPap, port access, and therapeutic phlebotomy

Knowledge & Skills

• ICU nursing and critical thinking skills
• Telemetry monitoring and Meditech Expanse documentation
• Chest tube, NG tube, wound vac, and drain management
• Blood transfusion and post-dialysis assessment
• Ventilator management and central line care
