Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, rotating weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, overdose, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker, stroke, and respiratory distress cases
Monitor and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, sedation, and other titratable medications
Interpret and document telemetry strips using GE monitors
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including RT, nurse aides, and healthcare support techs
Float to PCU and MedSurg as needed, maintaining appropriate patient ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience preferred
Driver's license required for radius rule verification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and assessment skills in critical care setting
Proficient in titrating multiple continuous drips
Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry strips
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
