Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert care to ICU patients including trauma, cardiac, and stroke cases
Titrate and manage critical drips such as cardiac, insulin, and sedation medications
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, documenting strips and responding to alarms
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, maintaining appropriate patient ratios
Participate in self-scheduling and adapt to unit needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
Valid driver's license and willingness to comply with radius rule

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in titration of cardiac and sedation drips
Proficiency with ventilator management and oxygen delivery devices
Ability to manage patients on continuous monitoring and telemetry
Knowledge of trauma, sepsis, and post-procedural care
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
