Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced ICU setting
• Manage ventilators, titrate critical drips, and monitor telemetry
• Float across multiple ICUs including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Respond to rapid changes in patient condition with confidence and skill
• Utilize advanced equipment like CRRT, IABP, and Impella to support critically ill patients

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• First-time travelers welcome if you have 3+ years ICU experience and Epic proficiency
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Colorado or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Comfortable titrating all critical drips (pressors, sedation, antiarrhythmics, etc.)
• Ability to float within a 60-mile zone including multiple Colorado facilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert-level telemetry interpretation and strip reading
• Proficiency in ventilator management and respiratory support
• Experience with CRRT, IABP, and Impella devices
• Strong titration skills for a variety of critical medications
• Adaptability to different ICU environments and patient acuities
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
