Location: Centennial, Colorado

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population across multiple units including medical-surgical telemetry, cardiac, neuro, oncology, and more
Float seamlessly between facilities within a 60-mile zone, adapting quickly to different unit cultures and patient needs
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient ratios and optimal outcomes
Titrate heparin drips as required and respond to changing patient conditions with clinical expertise
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
Embrace flexibility and teamwork to fill scheduling gaps and support the permanent team

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience
Active and unrestricted RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Prior neuro experience and heparin titration skills preferred
Willingness to float across multiple facilities within Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in MS-Tele nursing, including cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
Experience with neuro patients and heparin drip management
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to quickly adapt to different units and patient acuities
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
