Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver rapid, high‑quality emergency care to diverse patient populations
• Triage incoming patients and prioritize interventions based on severity
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and life‑saving procedures in accordance with protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to ensure seamless patient flow
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR
• Participate in code response, trauma activations, and rapid response teams

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Connecticut
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Experience with Level 1 or Level 2 trauma care
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Emergency department workflow and triage principles
• Advanced cardiac life support algorithms
• Pediatric advanced life support techniques
• Trauma assessment and management
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Electronic medical record documentation
