Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide rapid, high‑quality emergency care to patients presenting with acute conditions
• Triage and prioritize incoming cases to ensure timely treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR
• Participate in code response and rapid‑response teams as needed

Qualifications

• Current Iowa RN license in good standing
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 0 years experience – new graduates welcome
• Ability to pass background check and credentialing requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency department protocols and triage systems
• Advanced cardiac life support algorithms
• Neurological assessment tools including NIHSS
• Trauma nursing core competencies
• Effective communication and teamwork under pressure
