Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Flexible 8-hour or 10-hour shifts (to be discussed in interview), with rotating weeknight and weekend call coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform circulating and teching roles during complex endoscopic procedures such as ERCP, EUS, and EMR/ESD
Operate and troubleshoot advanced endoscopic equipment including ultrasound processors and electrocautery devices
Assist physicians with fine needle aspiration, stent deployment, and endoscopic suturing
Ensure proper high-level disinfection and reprocessing of scopes following SGNA standards
Provide exceptional patient care and support during GI procedures
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal outcomes

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an endoscopy or GI lab setting
Proficiency in circulating and teching for advanced procedures (ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD)
Ability to pass an open-book competency exam during orientation (90% required)
Commitment to following infection control and fingernail policy (no artificial nails)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in advanced endoscopic procedures (ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, Enteroscopy)
Skills in scope reprocessing and high-level disinfection
Proficiency in operating endoscopic ultrasound processors and electrocautery equipment
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced GI lab
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
