Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting, managing critical patients with conditions such as STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis
• Perform procedures including intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting with confidence
• Administer critical care drips and sedation, prioritize using ESI, and lead code situations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of paramedics, EMTs, LPNs, and sitters to deliver exceptional patient care
• Ensure patient experience scores remain high by focusing on teamwork and compassionate care

Qualifications

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications required
• At least 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Must have experience with critical care drips, sedation, ESI, and codes
• Preferred experience with trauma patients

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with Meditech EDM documentation system
• Knowledge of STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis protocols
• Skilled in using Rapid Infuser and Glidescope equipment
• Ability to work as part of a cohesive team in a high-pressure environment
