Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
Perform central line insertions, chest tube placements, and thoracic lavage
Assist with intubations and other critical procedures
Collaborate with a dynamic team in a fast-paced 14-bed ED
Utilize Meditech and CPN systems for accurate documentation
Ensure patient safety and positive outcomes in every interaction

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ED RN experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications
Must be independent, self-motivated, and possess excellent customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively with staff and providers

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in emergency procedures: central lines, chest tubes, intubations
Experience with Meditech and CPN electronic medical records
Preferred: ENPC and IO training
Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
