Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Bay City, MI
Start Date: 11-02-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 36 hours per week guaranteed, weekend rotation required, no on-call, specific shift times to be confirmed with the unit
Hours per Week: 60
Candidate Pay Rate: $58.10 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, total nursing care to emergency department patients
- Educate patients and families to support informed health decisions
- Lead and collaborate with ancillary nursing and patient care teams
- Uphold professional nursing standards, ethics, and regulatory guidelines
- Advocate for patient rights, privacy, and individualized care
- Partner with patients to set mutual health goals
Qualifications
- Active Michigan Registered Nurse license
- At least 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Current PALS certification, or ENPC accepted in place of PALS
- Strong patient and family teaching abilities
- Commitment to ethical and professional nursing standards
Knowledge & Skills
- Emergency Department nursing care
- PALS or ENPC certification
- Patient and family education
- Leadership and team coordination
- Collaboration with ancillary nursing and patient team personnel
- Regulatory and professional nursing standards
