Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, compassionate care to patients in a busy 40 plus bed Emergency Department
• Perform IV starts and phlebotomy with confidence and precision
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using cardiac monitors and EKGs
• Respond quickly and calmly to high pressure, changing patient situations
• Collaborate with a talented team of RNs, Advanced Paramedics, EDTs and MHSCs
• Document care accurately in Meditech EMR
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and next steps
• Jump in as a true team player when the department gets busy

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or compact license eligibility
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• TNCC, ENPC and CPI certification for RN candidates
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department or acute care experience
• Adaptability and a true team player mindset, these are must haves
• High pressure experience in a previous role is a big plus
• Previous medical experience such as RN, Medic or Technician
• Outgoing and positive personality, even under pressure
