Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Start Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM
Hours per Week: 48
Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients in a fast‑paced emergency department
- Manage ventilator settings and BiPAP therapy
- Administer medications and perform EKGs
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
- Place chest tubes and manage art lines
- Document patient care in Meditech
- De‑escalate situations and provide compassionate support
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience
- Proficiency with Vent, BiPAP, EKG, Art Lines, Belmont, Chest Tubes, and Meditech
- Strong prioritizing and time‑management skills
- Completed de‑escalation course
- CPI‑preferred
