Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Start Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day Shift – 7 days, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; Night Shift – 7 nights, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Hours per Week: 48
Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment
- Perform chest tube placements and manage ventilator support
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EMR
- Provide patient and family education and support
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting
- CPI preferred and de-escalation training
- Strong prioritizing and time management skills
- Team player with a patient-focused mindset

- Ventilator management
- BiPAP therapy
- EKG interpretation
- Articulating lines placement
- Belmont catheter use
- Chest tube management
- Prioritizing patient care
- Time management
- De-escalation techniques
- CPI preferred
