Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-acuity care in a 15-bed free-standing emergency department
• Perform thorough patient assessments and reassessments, rapidly identifying Sepsis, STEMI, Stroke, and Trauma
• Administer medications, start IVs, provide wound care, and apply splints per unit protocols
• Document accurately in Meditech EMR and oversee EMT-P team members
• Collaborate with a fast-paced team to keep the emergency department safe, calm, and efficient
• Adapt quickly to changing patient volumes and prioritize care based on urgency

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or a compact state
• Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience
• Current BLS, ALS, TNCC, CPI or equivalent, and PALS or ENPC certifications
• Ability to quickly identify Sepsis, STEMI, Stroke, and Trauma presentations
• Compassionate, team-oriented caregiver with a strong sense of urgency
