Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity in a fast-paced emergency department
• Perform comprehensive assessments and reassessments to monitor changing patient conditions
• Start IVs, draw labs, and obtain EKGs with confidence and precision
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
• Collaborate with the ED team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to every patient
• Float between the main ED and Jersey Village as needed to support patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Active ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications
• PALS and ENPC required
• CPI/NICRSIS certification
• Experience with Expanse EMR
• Ability to float between Tomball and Jersey Village campuses

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong triage and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in IV placement, lab draws, and EKG acquisition
• Familiarity with standard ED equipment
• Expanse EMR proficiency
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Knowledge of emergency nursing best practices
