Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver age-specific, direct patient care in the Emergency Department
- Provide nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process and within the framework of Department of Nursing Standards
- Assume leadership responsibilities by delegating work to other levels of staff
- Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Vermont (or multi-state compact)
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC certifications required
- De-escalation training
- Less than 1 year of experience welcome
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of the Nursing Process
- Direct patient care expertise
- Leadership and delegation skills
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC
