Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department and MedSurg Swing unit
Titrate IV drips and monitor telemetry for acute patients
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes
Float to ED holds as needed and support swing bed patients
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of MedSurg experience
Ability to titrate drips and interpret telemetry strips
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-unit environment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and IV drip management
Experience with charge nurse responsibilities
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to floating between ED and MedSurg
