Roles & Responsibilities
- Triage and assess incoming patients in a fast-paced emergency department
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure optimal outcomes
- Document patient histories, assessments, and interventions accurately
- Participate in competency testing and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license in Iowa
- BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
