Location: Phoenix, Arizona

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including weekends and holidays as scheduled

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide advanced critical care for cardiac surgery and transplant patients
Manage IABP, CRRT, and ECMO devices
Monitor dysrhythmias and telemetry
Assist with bedside procedures including bronchs, Swans, and epidurals
Collaborate with intensivists and multidisciplinary team
Float to other ICUs and tele units as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years ICU experience essential
Level I trauma experience required
CVICU experience preferred
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
CCRN certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner EMR
Strong IV skills
Knowledge of sterile technique
Ability to insert foley catheters and perform central line dressing changes
Experience with IABP, CRRT, and ECMO
Strong dysrhythmia recognition
