Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert critical care monitoring for CVICU patients
• Manage hemodynamic support using Swan Ganz, arterial lines, and EV1000
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and chest tube systems
• Administer medications and titrate drips according to protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
• Recover post-CABG and cardiac surgery patients with precision

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU)
• Proficiency in ventilator management, arterial and central line care, and chest tube management
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Preferred: BSN, CCRN, and Meditech experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• CRRT and Impella device management
• CABG post-operative recovery protocols
• Meditech electronic medical record system
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
