Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to post-cardiac surgery and thoracic patients
Monitor and manage complex hemodynamics including IABP, CRRT, and ECMO
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for lung and heart transplant patients
Perform bedside procedures and maintain sterile field
Float to other ICUs and telemetry units as needed

Qualifications

Current RN license in Arizona
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years ICU experience, preferably CVICU
Level I trauma experience required
Strong IV skills and proficiency with Cerner and Phillips monitors
CCRN preferred
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to start

Knowledge & Skills

Extensive knowledge of cardiac surgery recovery and critical care
Proficiency in IABP, CRRT, ECMO management
Understanding of sterile field and central line dressing changes
Ability to work in a high-acuity environment with 1:1 patient ratios
