Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions with confidence
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the broader care team on treatment plans
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and support advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Document care accurately in Meditech and keep the care team informed every step of the way
• Educate patients and families with compassion during some of their most difficult moments
• Uphold safety, infection control, and workplace violence prevention standards on every shift

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California, verified through Nursys
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention) certification
• Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Meditech EMR experience is highly preferred - candidates without it may attend a limited facility-sponsored orientation
• Availability for at least 3 shifts per week, including weekends
• Up-to-date health and immunization records, including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, and TB testing
