Shift Type: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Schedule includes one full weekend and two weekdays per four-week cycle, with on-call coverage.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker/ICD placements, Watchman procedures, and EP ablations (PFA).
• Monitor hemodynamic status and administer moderate sedation during interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
• Prepare and maintain equipment, including Phillips and Siemens fluoroscopy systems.
• Document procedures accurately using MERGE Hemo and Meditech Expanse EMR systems.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care to patients in the cardiac cath lab.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas or a compact state (required).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology.
• Experience with electrophysiology procedures preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including weekends and on-call.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and interventional procedures.
• Proficiency with Phillips and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment.
• Familiarity with cath lab documentation systems (MERGE Hemo) and hospital EMR (Meditech Expanse).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying case loads and procedures.
