Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform scrub, circulate, and monitoring duties during cardiac catheterization and structural heart procedures
• Assist with advanced procedures including TAVR, PFO closures, atherectomy, PCI, and Impella/IABP implants
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with a skilled interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in STEMI call rotation, providing rapid response for emergent cardiac cases
• Maintain accurate documentation in MacLab and Meditech systems
• Ensure safe operation of equipment such as GE Innova and Impella devices

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida or a compact state (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience, including structural heart and interventional procedures
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR
• Experience with TAVR, PFO, atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, DCCV, and TEE
• Ability to take STEMI call approximately 10-12 days per month
• Comfortable floating within EP and Stress Lab departments as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and interventional equipment
• Skilled in MacLab and Meditech documentation systems
• Familiarity with GE Innova imaging systems
• Expertise in monitoring and supporting patients on Impella and IABP
• Understanding of radiation safety and sterile technique in the cath lab
• Effective communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
